Israel continues the massacres in Gaza, after 35 Palestinians have been killed since the early hours of the morning by Israeli attacks.
In fact, nearly half of those deaths — 17 people — were recorded in the central city of Deir el-Bala in a food delivery queue by the Humanitarian Foundation for Gaza (GHF), which are "death traps" for Palestinians as they are forced to pile up like "rodeo animals" and then come under Israeli fire.
At the same time, the Israeli Prime Minister's visit to Washington continues with successive contacts with U.S. government officials, as the U.S. and Israel are closely coordinating to promote their genocidal plans at the expense of the Palestinian people, but also more generally to safeguard their interests in the "big picture" of the imperialist rivalries that are making a mess of the Middle East and more broadly, including by promoting new "Abraham agreements", which even "touch" Africa.
Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu met again on Tuesday at the White House with U.S. President Donald Trump for the second time in two days, without revealing details of what was discussed.
According to the US news website "Axios", a delegation from Qatar - which mediates together with Egypt and the US in indirect negotiations between Israel and Hamas - was earlier admitted to the US presidency for talks with officials that lasted hours.
In a post after the meeting with Trump, Netanyahu reiterated that "we are determined to achieve all our goals: The release of all our hostages... the elimination of Hamas' military and governmental capabilities" and ensure that Gaza, which has been razed for 20 months by the Israeli occupation army, "will no longer pose a threat to Israel" – a wording that "clicks" with plans to perpetuate the occupation and mass uprooting Palestinians from their occupied homeland.
Netanyahu also said that the "implications and potentials" of the "great victory" over Iran were discussed, adding that "opportunities are opening up here (...) to expand the Abraham Accords."
Preparing the ground for an 'Abraham Accord' with Mauritania
In this context, according to the news website "Semafor", B. Netanyahu was expected to meet yesterday with the President of Mauritania, Mohamed Ould Ghazouani, in a meeting that was closed with the mediation of the Trump administration, with the aim of extending the agreements for the "normalization" of relations between Israel and Arab and Islamic countries ("Abraham Accords").
The President of Mauritania is in Washington for a U.S. summit with five African countries, on which the U.S. government is focusing on upgrading the U.S. position in Africa vis-à-vis China.
Mauritania was the third member of the Arab League to establish full diplomatic relations with Israel in 1999, but cut ties 10 years later, against the backdrop of the Israeli war in Gaza in 2008-2009.
According to the Times of Israel, Mauritania and Indonesia had come close to concluding agreements with Israel towards the end of D. Trump, however, in the end the agreements did not go ahead.
Meanwhile, U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth described the Israeli state as a "model ally" during his Pentagon meeting with Israeli Prime Minister B. Netanyahu yesterday.
"There are many allies. And there are allies who act," Hegseth said, praising the successes of Israel and the U.S. in strikes against Iran's nuclear program.
Netanyahu said that the U.S. bombing of Iran "sent a message to the world" and that Iran and the Middle East realized the strength of the U.S.-Israel alliance.
The "Morag Corridor" and the plans for ethnic cleansing
At the same time, in the ongoing and so far fruitless negotiations taking place in Doha for a temporary "ceasefire" in Gaza, Israel seeks to impose such conditions that will allow the implementation of the plans for the ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people.
Specifically, as reported by the "Times of Israel", the killer state seeks to maintain control of the Israeli occupation army in the so-called "Morag corridor" in southern Gaza, which was created by Israel in April 2025 to cut off Rafah from the rest of the Gaza Strip.
This insistence on maintaining military control over this corridor "clicks" with the plans announced by the Israeli Defense Minister, for the creation of a huge concentration camp for the Palestinians of Gaza "in the ruins of Rafah", in which an attempt will be made to trap the entire population of Gaza, without being allowed to leave, in order to undergo a process... "de-radicalization" and finally lead to... "voluntary" displacement from his homeland.
According to an Arab diplomat and another source with knowledge of the negotiations in Doha cited by the Times of Israel, the Israeli side submitted new maps with a more expanded "partial withdrawal" of the Israeli occupation army from Gaza, after U.S. intervention, but no more was known.
U.S. President Trump said on Tuesday that "there are good chances" of a ceasefire agreement in Gaza "this week or next."
For its part, Doha points out that it will take time to close a deal, while Israeli media report that the White House special envoy for the Middle East, Steve Witkov, has finally delayed his expected trip to the Qatari capital.
Hamas reiterated its readiness to release 10 hostages under a ceasefire agreement and said the points still being negotiated were the unhindered entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza, the withdrawal of Israeli forces and "authentic guarantees" for a permanent ceasefire. It added that the talks were "difficult" because of Israel's "intransigence".
