Appreciate your mention of the root Greek meaning -- it definitely highlights the duplicitous nature of hypocrites to a tee.
Similarly some weeks ago I stumbled across the fact that the phrase translated "oppositions of science" in I Tim. 6:20 if transliterated from the Koine Greek would be essentially "antithesis of gnosis." "Antithesis" sounds a lot like Hegelian dialectic and "gnosis" in this context is Gnosticism. Truly there is nothing new under the sun.
Right now most of the Western World is attempting to create a way to survive the coming fascist dictatorships coming to fruition under the “new” US Governmental Authority: beginning with the Continental US itself.
Palestine and Gaza is all but beyond the reach (and I dare say?, ), the will of The West or The US to care At this point.
Kind of like standard, normal operating procedure???…
One very ominous development though:
You’ve lost the compassion and response of The US and any humanitarian aid, due the now openly fascist regime in The US established by the stolen election of #45/47 :( with the aid of pro Hamas / anti-Israel forces who aided the now completely toppled US government by stopping the election of Harris who would have stopped the further erosion of Palestinian rule):
and now being implemented by the total destruction of USAID.
At this point ?,
Palestine and Gaza must look to any friends they may have left in Europe, Africa, or perhaps South America.
The US will be implanting the possession and purchase of Gaza with the completed displacement of Gaza’s citizenry , development of the coast for the exclusive use of European/Western/Israeli occupation use.
The US is lost to you now , as it will be to 50% of its citizenry due to the total destruction of its Constitutional Republic and any past resemblance of its sovereignty.
